چکیده
A user-friendly high-resolution intermediate complexity dynamic and spatially distributed flow model is crucial in urban flood modeling. Planners consultants need to improve the accuracy of floods estimation risks. new will serve as a rapid tool identification these. This article provides detailed explanation based on multiple algorithm. Model testing was performed selected rural areas. Additionally, sensitivity analysis conducted analyze functionality. The includes basic hydrological processes therefore less complex than fully physical models. data needed set up run include temporally geometric hydrologic variables (i.e., digital elevation model, precipitation, infiltration, surface roughness). implemented using open-source coding can easily be applied any area. Outputs are water volumes, depths, velocities at different modeling times. Using GIS, results visualized utilized for further analyses. test, well areas, demonstrates its user-friendliness, that estimated depths velocity time step saved visualized.

Computing and Visualizing Morphologically Sound DEMs in a Raster Environment
The present study dealt with the problem of interpolating a continuous digital elevation model (DEM) from contour lines. Several methods were developed that make use of an interpolation algorithm. The basic idea behind the methodology has been the use of tools provided in a standard raster geographic information system (GIS) environment and the avoidance of problems related to the triangulation...
متن کاملFusion of high-resolution DEMs for water flow modeling
Background: New technologies for terrain reconstruction have increased the availability of topographic data at a broad range of resolutions and spatial extents. The existing digital elevation models (DEMs) can now be updated at a low cost in selected study areas with newer, often higher resolution data using unmanned aerial systems (UAS) or terrestrial sensors. However, differences in spatial c...
متن کاملGenerating Dynamic Raster Data
Benchmarking of spatio-temporal databases is an issue of growing importance. In case large real data sets are not available, benchmarking requires the generation of artificial data sets following the realworld behavior of spatial objects that change their locations, shapes and sizes over time. In this report, a generator for changing raster data, called “Generator of Time-Evolving Regional Data...
متن کاملDefining Cost Functions and Profitability Measures for Digraphs Associated with Raster DEMs
With a raster Digital Elevation Model, it is usual to associate a directed graph. Firstly, the problem of defining cost functions for such digraphs is discussed in a general and formal framework, and a particularly simple and natural way to tackle this problem is proposed. Secondly, the notion of profitability, which is commonly linked with the notion of cost, is put forward. Thus, profitabilit...
متن کاملModeling Spatiotemporal Uncertainty in Dynamic Virtual Environments
Current virtual agent [1] control architectures involve representations of the environment that must be adequate for effective deliberative behaviour rather than simple encoding of the environment's state. Hence, they must take into account the element of uncertainty that is inherent to perceptual processes, in the form of predicting the future state of perceivable parts of the environment or t...
